In the centre, a man with a black turban and bare chest wears a red-orange dhoti-style wrap, a rudraksha mala, and a large gold pendant on a gold chain, with white tripundra marks on his forehead. He stands with his eyes lowered. Flanking him, two shaved-headed men in orange-red wraps wear rudraksha and beaded garlands, one with a red-and-gold shawl. Behind them, drummers play drums and a man blows a horn. A large black Shiva lingam stands on a tiered platform decorated with yellow and white flower garlands, with water streaming from it. Many people in white clothing fill the steps behind, and palm trees and a stone wall form the background.2016-01-03January 03 20162016-01-03Outdoor temple ritual beside a stone-edged water tank at a temple. In the centre, a man in a rust-red robe with a long rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark walks along the stone path. Beside him, a bare-chested attendant in an orange cloth carries a brass plate of flowers and leaves, and a white-clad man walks at right near the water. Behind them, a row of people in white and orange clothing stand on the steps, many with hands folded. Several stone shivalinga stand on square bases at left, with a brass pot and kalasha nearby. A tall golden trident is visible above the crowd. The central figure's appearance is not clearly confirmed, so he is described by role only, as a robed devotee leading the procession.2017-05-22 +1 copiesMay 22 20172017-05-22 +1 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12January 03 20162016-01-03December 12 20162016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12February 24 20172017-02-24
