Photograph of a seated figure in an orange-brown dhoti-style garment and shawl, bare-shouldered, with hair in a bun and gold earrings, placing both palms on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt with an orange shawl and a beaded necklace. The man has palms pressed together in a gesture of reverence and his eyes are closed. A young boy in a light blue t-shirt stands beside them with a hand on his head. Behind them a red curtain hangs, and several people in orange and white clothing stand in the background. The scene resembles a blessing or darshan moment.2012-07-09A seated man in an orange-saffron robe with a thick rudraksha mala and a long dark hair knot, bearing white sacred ash on his forehead, extends his right hand in blessing toward the head of a young boy in a white shirt and red-and-white checked cloth with an orange thread. The boy stands with eyes closed and hands folded. Behind them a second man in white with a yellow-bordered cloth and white forehead marks sits, and blurred figures stand in the background. Swamiji (probable): the seated blessing figure shows long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, the cues the page associates with Swamiji, though this is an appearance-based label.2013-02-25A young boy in a white kurta with a red pendant sits with eyes lifted upward while a bare-armed man in an orange-red shawl presses his palm to the boy's forehead. A second man in saffron-orange cloth with a gold bead necklace, long hair and white forehead markings stands behind, one hand resting on the boy's shoulder. Red curtains and a pink wall form the backdrop; a blurred figure with dark hair is at left and another person in white stands at upper right. The scene appears to be a third-eye initiation, with the blessing hand placed at the brow.2017-02-13February 13 20172017-02-13A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a rust-orange draped cloth and a reddish-orange beaded mala with a large lime-green bead necklace, placing a hand on the head of a young boy in a dark shirt who has his palms joined. Behind them a bald man in orange robes sits with his head bowed, and a man in white with a tilak and beaded necklace watches. Several people in white and orange clothing stand in the background, and a red cushioned seat is visible in the foreground. The figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by long swept-back hair, rudraksha-style beads and orange ceremonial dress, performing a blessing (darshan) on the boy in what looks like a satsang setting.2013-05-12November 30 20112011-11-30A young boy in a white kurta with a rudraksha-bead pendant stands with eyes closed while an adult's hand, wearing a red thread bracelet, presses a white paste mark on his forehead during an initiation. Behind him stands a young man with bare shoulders wrapped in an orange cloth, wearing a rudraksha mala with large gold-coloured beads and a small pendant, and bands of rudraksha on his upper arm. Other people in white clothes are blurred in the background, and a second hand reaches into the foreground.2017-02-13February 13 20172017-02-13A young boy in a white dhoti and white shirt with a rudraksha-style pendant kneels before a man in saffron-orange robes whose bare forearm shows a scar. The man's right hand rests on the boy's forehead, which bears a white vibhuti mark. Behind the boy, a shirtless young man in orange cloth wears a thick rudraksha mala and gold beads and steadies the boy's shoulder. Another boy in white stands behind them, and a few other people are visible at the edges, in a hall with a wooden railing and a red and green mat.2017-02-13A young boy in a white shirt with rudraksha beads stands before a monk for a blessing. A monk in orange robes with long swept-back hair and a beard touches the boy's forehead, which bears a white vibhuti mark. Behind them, a second monk in orange, wearing a rudraksha shawl and gold beaded necklaces, rests a hand on the boy's shoulder. Another person in white clothing and a badge stands at the right. The setting appears to be an ashram hall with a red curtain and a gold-railed platform. This resembles a third eye initiation scene, with a child receiving a blessing from orange-robed monks.2017-02-13A young boy in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-white ID badge reading NITHYANANDAM stands with his head lowered while an adult in an orange-brown robe with long dreadlocked hair and a beard presses a hand on his forehead, applying a white mark. Behind them a smiling young man in an orange robe wears a gold-beaded necklace and rudraksha mala and holds the boy's shoulder. Other people in white and orange clothing stand in the background of a hall with a colourful patterned mat on the floor. The scene shows a third eye initiation ritual.2017-02-13July 09 20122012-07-09
