A man in a peach-coloured draped garment with gold border and layered gold beaded necklaces, gold armlets and bangles, with an orange shawl over his shoulder, walks along a narrow passage with a red forehead dot and tilak marks. Beside him, a shaved-headed man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala walks close, his hand resting on the first man's shoulder. A small turquoise mat lies on the step in front and a faint red-walled corridor with a sign on the right forms the background. Swamiji (probable): the man in the peach garment wears long swept-back hair and ornate gold necklaces with an orange shawl, cues consistent with the page's claim, so the appearance is a probable candidate for Swamiji walking in procession-like progress. The orange-robed attendant has a rudraksha mala and is a devotee or sannyasi.2011-12-30March 14 20142014-03-14A group of saffron-robed sannyasis walks barefoot along a paved street in front of a temple gateway. The central man wears an orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a long ornate gold bead necklace, with a red bindi on his forehead. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and white-and-orange-clad monastics carry a small brass vessel and an orange cloth bag. Sandalwood tilaka marks cover several foreheads, and rudraksha malas hang on many chests. Behind them, a metal gate and shopfronts line the street. Appearance cues alone are not sufficient to identify the central figure, so his role is described as a saffron-clad sannyasi leading the procession.2011-09-26June 04 20122012-06-04December 15 20112011-12-15January 01 20132013-01-01Three men in saffron-orange robes stand in a temple doorway with pink-washed walls and a stone pillar. The central man has long swept-back dark hair, a white vibhuti line and a multi-strand rudraksha mala, and holds a light blue plastic bag. A bald man in orange on the left wears a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark. On the right a man in orange with a gold ceremonial necklace carries a yellow cloth bag. Several more people in white and orange stand behind them inside the doorway.2012-05-22Two saffron-robed men walk hand in hand down a temple corridor with painted ceilings and stone pillars. The man on the left has long dark swept-back hair, a white and red tilak on his forehead, gold chain necklaces and an orange dhoti with gold borders. The shaved-headed man on the right wears a rudraksha mala with gold ornaments, a gold-bordered orange cloth and a red bindi; he walks barefoot. Uniformed police officers in khaki stand behind them, and another saffron-clad attendant appears at the right edge.2012-05-20September 24 20122012-09-24May 07 20122012-05-07A photograph of several men walking barefoot along a paved street in procession, outside a temple gate. The central figure wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a heavy gold bead necklace, and a red tilak on his forehead; he has long dark hair swept back and is smiling. A man to his left in orange robes and a rudraksha mala carries a small silver vessel, and a younger man in white dhoti with gold borders walks behind. Others in white and orange clothing follow, and a person at right carries an orange bag. The scene is outdoors with iron gates and a temple entrance in the background.2011-09-26December 11 20112011-12-11
