A photograph of a screen showing a devotional puja in a decorated hall with deity images and garlands on the back wall. A bald, bare-chested priest in white dhoti and shawl stands at centre with arms outstretched, a rudraksha mala on his chest. Women in saffron, orange, teal and maroon saris sit on mats around trays of fruit, sweets and offerings. A standing man in white dhoti with joined palms stands at right. A white table holds items at centre-right. The scene reads as a ritual gathering, with no clear identification of any individual.

A flat-screen television shows a live video feed of a man and a woman seated cross-legged on a pink and red patterned rug in a home room. The man wears a white sweater and dark trousers with a cord around his neck and sits beside a laptop. The woman wears a green and gold sari and sits with her hands folded. Behind them a framed portrait of a woman wearing a flower garland hangs above a red-draped chair. In the foreground a brass plate with offerings sits on the rug. At left, banana leaves hold rice, grated coconut and sweets, and white-clad people sit on the floor. The screen shows a yellow-toned image.

A small home room with mint-green walls where a group of devotees sit on the floor in a satsang or puja gathering. On the right, a woman in a white sari with a red-pink border and a black bead mala speaks while others listen. A man in white shirt and dhoti with a dark mala sits at left beside two women in white saris. On a white-draped table in the center stands a large framed portrait of a man in orange robes wearing a floral garland, with brass oil lamps lit on either side and marigold and rose petals scattered before it. Trays hold fruit, flowers and offerings, and a flower-garlanded plate sits on a mat in front. A television and shelves of framed photographs fill the background.

A house-visit padapuja in a bright room with a pale wall and a small wooden side table. A person reclining on an orange bolster wears a rust-brown and maroon robe with a pink-gold border, a long multicolour flower garland with red blooms, and gold armbands; the robed figure has long swept-back hair and smiles as their feet are washed. Seated on the floor before them, a woman in a black top with a white-and-orange scarf smiles and a man in a cream shawl and orange scarf kneels beside a brass plate. A younger shaved-headed attendant in orange cloth pours water over the feet from a silver vessel, and standing attendants in orange robes stand near the window. A framed photo of a robed figure with garlands and a trident hangs on the wall, and a box of apples sits at the right edge. The reclining person is a person candidate with long swept-back hair and a multicolour garland, seated as the central figure of a padapuja.

Photo of a large projection screen showing several video-call panels of devotee groups, displayed in a darkened hall with an orange-robed figure partly visible in the foreground. The main upper panel shows about a dozen people seated on a stone-floored courtyard in white clothes, some in orange, in front of a shrine; a red and white sign reads ARUNACHALA TIRUVANNAMALAI. Lower panels show a small group in a room, a shrine with deity murtis and a kalasha, and a woman in a purple-carpeted living room with a figure in white seated near offerings and a 'HAPPY' banner. The on-screen figures are shown on screens, not physically present; the orange-robed figure in the foreground is only partly visible.

A photograph of a large display screen showing a live video feed of a seated group during a puja. In the foreground, a woman in a yellow saree sits cross-legged before a low table holding a white plate with red and yellow offerings and a small lamp. Behind her, several people in white and pastel clothes sit in a row on the floor of a room, including a woman in pink and a man in a yellow shirt. A plastic fan and a patterned purple and gold panel are visible at the right edge. The screen image is blurred. No a person candidate is clearly visible.
