A photograph of several women seated cross-legged on a mat in a bright hall with red curtains, holding small brass oil lamps with lit flames. The woman in front right wears a cream and gold-bordered sari with a yellow shawl and bangles; the others wear cream dresses with orange shawls and tilak marks on their foreheads. Brass plates with red flowers, a plastic container of petals, and a bottle of water sit on the floor in front of them, and more people, including children, sit behind them, some holding lamps. The scene suggests a lamp-lighting devotional gathering, but no speaker or a person is visible.2011-09-30March 27 20132013-03-27April 15 20132013-04-15 +1 copiesFebruary 23 20112011-02-23May 09 20132013-05-09 +1 copiesJune 22 20132013-06-22A row of young women and girls in orange and maroon saris sit on the floor during a puja ceremony. Some have white vibhuti or sandalwood markings on their foreheads and tilak, and one has a yellow-gold marking on her eyelid area near the lamp. Brass pots, trays with flowers, a small bell and offering plates sit on a white floor in front, with a red curtain and white walls behind.
