August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01A photograph of a temple entrance area with a gateway tower behind. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long dark hair, places his hand on the head of a young boy in a striped t-shirt and khaki shorts, who wears a wristwatch. Around them stand men in white shirts and white dhotis; one wears a rudraksha-style mala, another has a sacred ash mark on his forehead, and a man in a light blue shirt holds up a small packet. A saffron-robed figure stands at the far left edge. The man in saffron has long, swept-back hair and a red cloth at his waist, and there is a Swamiji (probable) cue: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a shawl. Several other people, including a woman in a striped sari, are visible in the background crowd.2009-08-01May 31 20122012-05-31September 09 20112011-09-09July 13 20092009-07-13February 08 20122012-02-08September 11 20122012-09-11August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01A street procession in an Indian town. At centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange turban, orange robe with gold border, and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace, walking forward and smiling. Around him are men in white shirts and white dhotis, several wearing rudraksha-style pendant necklaces, and a bearded man in an orange shawl. A small boy in a blue shirt and a child in white school uniform stand at left, and a crowd of onlookers fills the lane. Behind them are white-painted buildings, bunting flags strung overhead, and a decorated vehicle with red and white canopy in the background.2007-01-12August 11 20092009-08-11December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04October 07 20112011-10-07
