He wears a cream embroidered kurta and white dhoti with a striped shawl over one shoulder, and his palms are pressed together in greeting. Behind the throne hang green and yellow streamers, marigold and leaf decorations, and potted flowers flank the stage. The throne and setting suggest a festival stage, though the figure's appearance is uncertain for identification purposes.2008-12-26December 28 20082008-12-28A man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits smiling on a large gold throne decorated with yellow, red and purple flower garlands and white jasmine strands, flanked by gold lion figures. He wears a peach embroidered kurta with an orange-and-gold shawl draped over his shoulder and a gold necklace, and rests his hands in his lap on a red cushion atop a gold stool. Above him hangs an ornate gold-and-green canopy. The background is a cloth backdrop with a dark blue and green motif. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, with white and red flower garlands draped over his shoulders and a red-and-white garland trailing to the floor. A tiger-striped cloth covers the dais and a gold footstool sits below. The appearance of a long swept-back hairstyle, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklace is consistent with a person, seated in a satsang setting.2013-03-02 +1 copies
