A bare-footed woman in an orange robe with long dark hair holds a flaming oil lamp or ritual fire vessel while walking across sand toward a white-draped low platform. Behind her, men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand on concrete steps; one holds a tall golden staff and another, at left, wears white with a small pendant. A microphone on a stand and a black speaker sit nearby, and a portrait banner of a smiling orange-robed figure with red beads hangs at the upper left. A red-and-maroon cloth lies on the sand near the platform.2007-02-14July 24 20172017-07-24July 09 20132013-07-09June 09 20092009-06-09January 02 20162016-01-02October 16 20162016-10-16May 09 20132013-05-09Low-angle photo of a group of ritual attendants on a raised platform under a cloudy sky. In the foreground, a bare-chested young man in white dhoti with gold borders and a red-bead rudraksha mala gestures with his hands toward baskets of offerings. Beside him, several men in orange and red robes with gold borders stand near a large metal vessel, one holding its rim, another with a bead bracelet. Metal railings line the platform.2015-07-31February 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copies
