A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gilded throne (simhasana) decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, red roses and white flowers against a red draped backdrop. He wears a rudraksha mala, a gold chain, gold armbands and a white tilak on his forehead, with hands folded in his lap. Beside him stands a gilded arched shrine (prabhavali) enclosing a deity murti dressed in a pink sari, adorned with gold jewellery and a crown, also garlanded with yellow and red flowers. A brass oil lamp (deepa) stands in front of the murti and a small brass lamp sits on a gold-trimmed pedestal. The setting is a festive stage with gold trim and a fringed orange and red cloth overhead.2012-10-16A photograph of a satsang hall with a figure seated on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, smiling, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala with a gold necklace, and a red bindi.
