A young boy in an orange polo shirt and khaki trousers stands on the left, holding a small red-and-white item toward a man on the right. The man has his hair in a bun, wears an orange-saffron wrap, a gold necklace, and a light tilak on his forehead, and he holds open a blue folder with children's drawings. A woman in a white sari sits behind them in front of a red draped curtain, and a few seated people in white are at the edge of the frame. The man's presentation of a bare-shouldered orange wrap and gold necklace fits the page's a person-related cues only partially, so the identity is left uncertain; he is described by role as a man receiving a child's artwork.
