A thatched-roof hut with a cream arched doorway and a small step. A man in an orange saffron robe and a yellow-orange garland stands on the step, holding his hands together, while a man in white clothes stands in the doorway behind him. A large black banner on the right shows a smiling woman in an orange sari with red kumkum on her forehead, with Tamil text printed beside her; red canna flowers and yellow pennant flags decorate the scene. Two more people in white and yellow stand at the left edge.2010-01-22January 22 20102010-01-22A figure in a saffron-orange robe and sandals walks through a doorway of a whitewashed building, wearing a long white and red flower garland with yellow marigolds at the chest and a rudraksha-style red bead mala. The doorway is covered by a thatched palm-leaf canopy decorated with orange and green paper festoons and banana stalks. Men in white shirts and white dhotis stand behind, one holding a basket and another with raised hands. Scattered red rose petals lie on a white cloth at the threshold, and a small kalasha-like pot with flowers sits in a window niche. The figure appears to be a person, identified by the saffron robe, floral garland and bead mala, and is therefore the one in_person candidate in this photograph.2009-08-11January 22 20102010-01-22A smiling man stands on a pale tiled floor in a bare room, wearing an orange turban, orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti with a long white and red flower garland and a gold pendant necklace. He gestures toward an open doorway framed with green leaves and flowers, where two people in orange and white stand outside. Unpainted grey walls and a red tiled ceiling surround him, with empty shelves on the left.2008-07-27January 22 20102010-01-22January 22 20102010-01-22December 15 20092009-12-15A procession walks along a dirt path in front of a thatched-roof building strung with yellow and white pennant bunting. In the centre, a woman in an orange robe with a large yellow-and-pink flower garland walks beside another person in a long orange robe. Around them, men in white dhotis and white shirts with rudraksha-style necklaces walk in a group, and a man in an orange shirt is nearby. A woman in a green sari with maroon border stands at left with hands joined. A banner with a portrait and Tamil lettering is mounted on the building, and motorbikes are parked at right beside palm trees.2010-01-22December 21 20092009-12-21December 30 20092009-12-30A photograph taken from inside an unfinished concrete-block building, looking through a doorway frame toward an outdoor construction yard. A figure in an orange saffron wrap with long dark curly hair walks through the doorway, holding a walking stick, barefoot on dirt ground with scattered concrete blocks. Behind him, another person in white clothing with an orange shawl walks in the yard, and a thatched-roof shelter stands beyond. The walls are grey cinder blocks with a dark interior. The figure's appearance (long swept hair, saffron wrap, walking stick) shows a shawl-clad, distinctive presentation consistent with a person candidate, so the identity is probable.2006-09-21
