Outdoor ashram courtyard under a red-pillared canopy beside a grassy path and paved stone walkway. In the foreground, a man in a white kurta and saffron-trimmed white shawl stands beside a woman in a mustard-yellow patterned sari and a white shawl, who holds a small steel cup. Several people in white clothing stand or sit under the canopy and in the background; some are seated on beige plastic chairs, and a man in an orange shirt sits at right. A water cooler jug and a metal table are visible at left.2009-07-02July 02 20092009-07-02June 18 20092009-06-18January 05 20082008-01-05A courtyard at an ashram-style compound on a cloudy day, with a paved walkway of hexagonal tiles marked by pink floral motifs running down a green lawn. White-walled buildings flank the path, one with a green corrugated roof and another with an orange tiled roof supported by red pillars. Rows of cream plastic chairs line the path, where many people sit in white clothing, some in white and others in green or red tops. Along the right, people in white stand and sit at long tables with steel containers and drinks. In the centre background, a figure in an orange robe with a white garment stands among others in white, appearing to be a sannyasi in saffron, and an ascetic-looking figure in orange is visible but not clearly identifiable. Several people in white walk and mingle, and a tree and potted plants frame the scene.2009-06-18June 18 20092009-06-18September 06 20092009-09-06June 18 20092009-06-18December 23 20082008-12-23A photograph of a walkway between two whitewashed ashram buildings during an annadaan celebration. A stone-paved path runs down a grass strip lined with small shrubs, with a crowd of mostly white-clad devotees walking and standing along it. On the right, a covered terrace with a red tiled roof is hung with marigold and yellow flower garlands. A man in a saffron-orange robe stands near the centre, with several devotees in white kurtas and dhotis. A young girl in an orange headband and orange clothing stands at the lower right, and a man in a white T-shirt with a lanyard holds a steel bowl. A green-roofed building and a tree sit at the back, and white plastic chairs are visible at the lower left. About 40 people are visible.2009-06-25December 23 20082008-12-23December 23 20082008-12-23
