Outdoor photo on a reddish dirt site at the foot of a scrubby, tree-covered hill, with a white SUV parked behind. Rows of grey concrete rings or cylindrical blocks, many numbered, cover the ground in the foreground. A bald man in a saffron-orange robe and yellow cloth bag stands at right under an orange umbrella, facing an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti. A woman in an orange sari holds an orange umbrella beside them. At left, a man in white with a white head wrap and a woman with a red umbrella stand near others in white dhotis and a pink-trimmed sari. Five or six people are visible, with the orange-robed man appearing as a person by his saffron garb and shaved head, though this is an appearance-based label only.Outdoor photograph of a procession walking along a dirt path beside a row of white-capped concrete pillars or plinths on a raised white platform. Behind them is a long white-roofed building with red-trimmed walls and parked white SUVs, backed by a scrubby, tree-dotted hill under a partly cloudy sky. On the right, about ten people walk in a group: several in white dhotis and shirts, and a central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a bare head, under a multicoloured canopy umbrella carried on a pole by an attendant in white. Count of visible people is approximately ten.2009-08-08Outdoor scene on a muddy dirt road beside a hill with green trees. On the left, a red-and-white ratha/chariot frame stands under construction. A group of people in white dhotis and shirts stand along the road, several holding sticks or wearing orange and yellow shawls. In the centre, a man in a white dhoti and shirt with a shaved head walks across the wet ground. To the right, a young person in an orange robe stands beside a colourful multicoloured umbrella with a fringed canopy, and a man in an orange robe and white dhoti stands with the group. A parked truck and stacked cylinders sit in the background. Tyres and a large puddle mark the road. A tall figure in a bright orange sannyasi robe with long dark swept-back hair stands at the right, looking down at the tiles. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti and an orange shawl holds a green folder. Two more men in white dhotis and shirts stand to the left near a blue plastic chair and a brown chair under a tree. A silver SUV and a green truck are parked behind, with a thatched bamboo shed and an elderly man in white walking in the background.2008-04-06Outdoor photo on a dirt ground beneath a forested hill.
