The male figure wears a green and red turban, a red and gold dhoti-like cloth, silver and jewelled necklaces, and garlands of yellow marigolds and green leaves, while raising a trident-like hand gesture. The female figure wears an orange sari, layered silver necklaces, a jewelled crown and garlands of white jasmine and yellow flowers. A gilded hooded cobra canopy with green jewelled eyes stands in the foreground. A white-clad person with a garland kneels at the lower right, partly visible.

2008 - Glimpses Of Gurukul

Photograph of a pair of golden deity murtis standing on a raised platform before red velvet drapes. The male figure wears a green and red turban, a trident in one hand and a ritual staff in the other, a red and green dhoti and heavy silver-and-gold jewellery with garlands of white jasmine and yellow marigolds. The female figure wears an orange sari, elaborate jewellery and a jewelled head ornament. In front stands a large golden five-hooded serpent canopy set with green stones, above a white-draped gold yoni-shaped base with a red flower and garlands. The murtis are statues, not living people.

Golden murti of a deity pair seated on a throne-like dais before red draped cloth within an ornate gold arch. The male figure wears an orange-yellow turban and a rudraksha mala, holds a trident and a small drum-like object, and is adorned with white and red flower garlands. The female figure beside him wears a green and blue sari, layered silver and gold necklaces and a crown. In front, a shivalinga-like form draped in blue cloth and a garland sits on a golden pedestal, with a small red-robed figure in the lower foreground. No living people are visible.

A photograph of a metal murti of a male and female deity pair seated under a gold-framed arch against a red draped backdrop. The male figure wears an orange turban and orange shawl, a crown, and many necklaces, holding a trident-like staff in one raised hand with the other hand in abhaya mudra. The female figure wears an orange and green sari, a tall black hair crown, and layered jeweled necklaces. Both are garlanded with red and white flower garlands, and a blue-grey draped seat sits beneath them above a snake-hooded metal base, a kalasha-like vessel, and rudraksha malas. No living people are visible.

A temple shrine with gilded deity murti in an ornate golden arch. A tall standing figure on the left holds a trident and wears an orange turban, yellow skirt and blue wrap, with heavy gold jewellery. Beside it, a seated figure in a golden-and-green ceremonial setting wears a crown, white and red flower garlands and layered necklaces. A smaller statue of a devotee with folded hands sits in an arched niche on the right. Garlands of white and red flowers drape across a purple cloth and gold-embossed platform in the foreground. The scene shows a decorated shrine with statues only and no living people.

A photograph of a bronze-coloured statue group in a temple setting at night. A male deity figure sits on a coiled golden serpent hood with five raised hoods, holding a trident in one hand and a raised palm in a blessing gesture, wearing a white dhoti with red and gold border, a red-and-white headcloth, layered jewelled necklaces and a vibhuti mark. Beside him a female figure in a teal sari with a red-and-gold border and a jewelled crown is seated with one hand raised. In front, a lingam wrapped in white cloth with gold bands and jasmine garlands stands on a golden base, with a red and yellow flower tied at its base. A cream-coloured cloth covers the platform below. No physical people are visible; the figures are statues.
