Several women and men in saffron-orange clothing walk in a line, many wearing rudraksha beads and shell-and-bead necklaces. Two bearers carry a long-handled ceremonial umbrella with a multicoloured fringed canopy above a life-sized figure of a bearded, turbaned man seated in white and gold ceremonial dress, garlanded with red and yellow flowers. A yellow carpet runs down the centre of the path. Some marchers press their hands together in reverence. Stone benches and a low wall are visible at the right edge.2018-12-22Outdoor photograph of a procession on a shaded path under trees. A central figure in a dark-red and saffron robe with a gold border wears long dark swept-back hair, a crown-like headpiece, several strands of white flower garlands, a large ornate gold pendant and rudraksha-style beads, and raises a long golden staff with both hands while smiling. Flanking men in saffron and red ritual robes with gold-bordered cloth, rudraksha malas and sandalwood or ash tilaks on their foreheads walk alongside. Another man at right with a shaved head and white tripundra markings holds his hands together. A few younger attendants stand behind, and a metal railing and a tree canopy frame the scene. Swamiji (probable): the central figure shows long swept-back hair, a crown-like headpiece, a large ornate gold pendant, garlands and rudraksha beads, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji.2016-01-03September 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20162016-01-03A festival procession moves along a dirt path under leafy trees.
