He holds his other palm up in a gesture of reverence. He wears a white sacred thread and red cord around his neck. Behind him, a person in orange robes stands, and a white cup sits at the bottom edge beside a clear glass pillar. The scene suggests a ritual blessing or initiation.2018-04-22March 27 20182018-03-27 +1 copiesA young shaved-headed devotee in an orange saffron shawl and multiple rudraksha malas with gold bead ornaments sits with eyes lowered while a man in the foreground applies white ash marking to his forehead with one hand. The man behind is bearded with long dark hair, wearing a white forehead marking and a pink and white floral garland. Plain red-walled room background, the scene appears to be a ritual blessing or initiation moment.2017-02-27A bare-chested man with a short beard and tilak on his forehead kneels with palms pressed together and eyes closed while a person in a rust-orange garment and gold bangles places a hand on his head in blessing. Gold vessels appear at the lower left, and a bright sign or banner is visible in the background. The scene reads as a darshan blessing during a yoga programme. The blessing giver is an unnamed attendant, and no one is identified as a person in this frame.2017-08-23
