In the foreground a man with a shaved head, white dhoti and shawl, a red rudraksha mala and white tripundra markings sits cross-legged, eyes lowered, hands resting near a brass plate and small lamps. Beside him a younger devotee in white with a folded-hands namaskar pose sits in front of a brass bell and offering vessels. Behind them several men in white garments with bare-chested sitting postures and white forehead marks sit in rows, along with other devotees in the background. Oil lamps, brass vessels and a tray with ritual items are visible. The scene reads as a padapuja-style ritual gathering.

A photograph of a row of men seated on the floor in a temple hall performing a ritual. They are bare-chested, wearing white dhotis with gold-yellow borders, and wear rudraksha malas; several have white sacred ash markings on their bodies and foreheads. Several hold small items in their hands, and in front of them lie brass oil lamps, kalasha-like vessels, pink flower petals, banana leaves, and small bowls on mats. Yellow-gold pillars stand at the left and orange-robed figures sit farther back. Two men in the foreground hold a leaf and a bundle of offerings. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam ritual in progress.
