October 31 20162016-10-31A person seen from behind walks barefoot along a stone-paved edge beside calm water. They wear a rust-orange unstitched robe with a thin golden border at the hem, and their very long black dreadlocked hair falls down the back to the calf. Reflections of tall orange-red structures shimmer in the still grey-green water. No readable text beyond a faint copyright line in the corner.2016-10-31October 31 20162016-10-31A barefoot man stands with his back to the camera on a pale stone ghat beside still, grey-blue water. He wears a rust-orange sleeveless wrap draped over one shoulder with a darker orange border at the hem. His very long black dreadlocks hang down his back to below his knees, with grey-streaked hair at the crown. The figure appears to be a sannyasi gazing across the water, with no ritual activity, deities or crowd visible.2016-10-31October 31 20162016-10-31October 31 20162016-10-31 +1 copiesJuly 24 20172017-07-24A close-up photograph of a long, thick black braid of hair, gathered into a rounded knot at its end, hanging down a person's back. The person wears an orange-red (saffron) cloth wrapped over the shoulders and is partly visible at the left edge, with arms crossed or lowered. The background is a pale, blurred interior wall with bright windows. The image is shown sideways, rotated about ninety degrees. The braid is the main subject and no face is visible. Whether this is a person cannot be confirmed from the visible cues, since only the hair and orange wrap appear and no face or other distinctive features are shown.2017-03-02October 03 20172017-10-03Photograph of a man seen from behind, standing in a bare interior beside an open doorway and window screen.
