September 15 20162016-09-15A photograph of a crowd of women gathered closely indoors in a pale, plastered room. In the centre, a woman in a yellow and pink striped sari with a red bindi and beaded necklace gestures with her hands while speaking. Around her, women in orange and saffron garments, a woman with a red bindi and gold earrings, and a woman in a green patterned sari with beaded necklace look on. Some hold small papers or booklets, and a white cloth is tied across one woman's head. A plastic bag and a bottle sit on the side. Watermarked photo, no readable signs.2015-09-15 +1 copiesMay 03 20162016-05-03September 15 20162016-09-15A dense crowd of women and some men packed inside an indoor hall with wooden cupboards and cream walls. A man in an orange-saffron dhoti and orange head wrap stands at upper left, smiling and appearing to lean toward the people before him; he has a sacred thread and a bare upper body, and his presence reads as a person figure in a healing queue, though the face and body cues are uncertain. Foreground women wear saris in pink, green, mustard and red, with jasmine flowers woven into long braided hair, and several hold white paper slips. Many onlookers press forward in a line, some with gold necklaces and bindi markings.2002-07-07 +2 copiesA woman in the foreground, seen from behind and partly in profile, wears a white head cloth and a dark hairband with a silver hoop earring, holding open a small printed booklet with Devanagari text. Behind her, several women sit on a tiled floor by a bright window, in pink, yellow, and green saris, with steel plates and bowls set before them and a white bundle nearby. A woman on the right in a patterned top and a dark-framed glasses wearer are also visible. The scene suggests a group reading or chanting from a printed text. No clear a person candidate is visible in this frame.2015-09-15September 18 20152015-09-18May 15 20122012-05-15April 17 20162016-04-17A crowded dining hall with tiled walls and stainless steel vessels on counters. A man in an orange turban and orange garment stands at left, smiling, beside a white-clad attendant holding a plate. Several men in white kurtas wear orange shawls and serve food, and a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala serves a plate. Women in white and floral saris, some with long braided hair, queue and receive food from a steel counter in the foreground. The scene appears to show annadan food service at a large gathering.2006-12-15May 03 20162016-05-03August 08 20092009-08-08
