A dense crowd of mostly men in white dhotis and shirts presses toward a small shrine-like alcove in a yellow-walled hall with a decorated gold and red temple facade. Several saffron-robed priests stand near a raised platform, one in a red turban-style head covering and garland, another in white with orange cloth, handling ritual items. A man in the foreground points upward. A deity murti stands in the shrine niche. The scene suggests a ritual ceremony. Whether a person candidate is present is not established from the visible appearance.
