A long red carpet runs down the centre. A central man in a brown-gold dhoti with a gold necklace and a yellow-gold sash walks barefoot, with a large curved golden horn raised by a drummer at left and a crescent-shaped ornament held aloft. Around him, young men and women in saffron-orange robes walk in pairs, some with hands folded in namaskar, and one carries a tray of offerings. A woman in white with a garland, and a bald-headed boy in orange, complete the line. A drummer in red and white beats a barrel drum at left. The scene looks like a ritual or ceremonial procession.2013-07-25A procession on a red carpet in an open courtyard with a palm-lined backdrop and a large canopy shelter. A man in the centre wears a red-brown dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, a gold pendant and layered rudraksha malas, and has a red-and-white tilak on his forehead; he walks forward with his hands at his sides. Behind him a bearer holds a large multicoloured fringed parasol with a pink lotus motif, and an attendant carries a smaller decorated umbrella. Surrounding them are men and women in saffron-orange and red garments, many with rudraksha malas, some with hands pressed in prayer, and drummers playing orange-bodied drums and a long horn at the left edge. Several people are sitting or standing at the edges. This is a temple-style procession with parasols and drums.2015-04-21A ceremonial procession on a pale sandy courtyard under a corrugated metal roof with palm trees behind. Young drummers in saffron-orange dhotis, bare-chested with white headbands, play large barrel drums slung at their sides. Two boys at right blow long curved brass horns. A white-clad man in a plain white dhoti and shirt stands at the left edge with a wind instrument.
