A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha-style setting sits on a gold throne with a red cushion, his hand raised to the bald head of a shaved-headed young man in white kurta with a yellow shawl and a beaded mala. The seated figure's long swept-back hair and ornate throne match the page's presentation, but the face is not used for identification, so the a person value is unsure. A woman in a red sari with a red bindi stands at left holding her sari, a man in orange robes stands behind the throne, and a young woman in white with a long braid stands at right beside a floral garland of yellow marigolds and purple flowers. Fruit and offerings sit on a red table, and a small brass pot stands on a gold stool at lower left. A red backdrop carved with temple pillars and a white fan complete the scene.2009-08-29January 28 20092009-01-28A seated figure in a bright orange-red robe sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, its back framed by marigold garlands, on a stage with a brown draped backdrop. Before the throne a child in a white patterned shirt and black trousers stands facing them, and a figure in orange robes leans in beside the child. On the left, women in sarees (one red-striped, one gold-bordered) and a man in white stand watching. On the right, a woman in a white and gold-bordered saree and a man in white kurta and dhoti stand near a table laden with offerings. The setting suggests a darshan with devotees receiving blessings; the seated figure matches the page's description of a presiding teacher, though appearance alone does not confirm identity.2009-02-14Photograph of a ceremonial event on a stage with a red-and-pink backdrop showing carved temple architecture.
