A central figure seated on a white cushioned seat wears saffron/orange robes and has long dark hair, with several people in white dhotis and shirts and others in orange-clothed attire around the dais, some tending to items at its base. A large crowd stands in the foreground silhouetted against the lights, and an orange-and-green canopied structure sits in front of the stage. The banner shows Tamil text and a framed portrait. The figure's long hair and saffron robes are a probable match to a person, seated centrally on the stage.2008-04-19A night-time outdoor ritual photographed at a riverside or lakeside setting.
