A photograph of a large covered yagna hall with a long raised platform draped in white cloth and red carpeting. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts, some wearing lanyards with round badges, work along the platform; one man in the foreground leans over the cloth while another in a white cap and white clothes stands nearby. A tall white canopy with a fringed edge and a red umbrella-like top shelters the platform. Garlands of green leaves and strings of yellow flowers hang from the poles, and a row of brass and gold kalasha pots with mango-leaf and coconut tops sits at the right beside a deity murti decorated with garlands. Bright tube lights line the hall ceiling.

A photograph inside a large open-sided bamboo pavilion with a corrugated roof, where a yagna ritual is being performed. Tall bamboo posts and banana plants frame the hall, and strings of marigold garlands hang from the ceiling. In the centre a stepped earthen altar stands on a white-draped table beside a decorated deity murti with flower garlands. Several people in white dhotis and saffron-orange shawls walk through the hall, and one man in white with an orange shawl carries a brass vessel. Large portrait banners line the back wall.

A large white tented pavilion hung with colourful tassel decorations and paper lanterns during an evening puja. On a red-draped platform in the foreground, priests in white dhotis and bare upper bodies stand and sit around offerings, including plantain-leaf plates of cooked dishes, fruits, a brass oil lamp and a metal drum. A priest at left in white clothes holds up an object near a decorated altar with flower garlands. Behind, a raised golden throne with a canopy sits at the front of a seated congregation of many devotees, mostly men in white and some women in saris. Several men in white dhotis and shirts, one wearing a white shawl and rudraksha-style beads, stand in a group at left and centre. A bald man in white clothing and an orange cloth draped over his shoulders stands near the middle, while another man in orange garments stands at right. Behind them, ornate gold-framed palanquins and deity murti are decorated with marigold garlands and banana plants. At right, a woman in an orange sari sits on a red chair beside rows of brass kalasha and oil lamps arranged on a raised platform for puja. Banana bunches and plantain leaves decorate the scene, and white umbrella-like canopies with red-and-white fringe hang overhead.

A temple ritual in a covered hall with a tent-like ceiling hung with colourful paper lanterns and streamers. A bare-chested priest in a yellow dhoti pours liquid from a golden vessel, while an officiant in white dhoti and a white shawl stands before a fire pit with a red and gold altar. Flower garlands and bananas decorate the offering tables with brass lamps and kalasha pots. Seated devotees fill the background, and a standing man in white clothing with a grey beard stands at right with hands folded. Homa/yagna rite with abhishekam-style offering.

Several ornate golden deity murti are decorated with flower garlands on draped platforms. Men in white dhotis and women in white saris tend offerings of brass pots and kalasha around a sand altar. A seated woman in an orange robe sits on a red plastic chair, and a man in an orange shawl stands nearby. A bearded older man in white holds papers. The mood is of a fire-offering ritual set in an open tent.

A temple ritual on a red-carpeted stage with garlanded pillars and marigold strings overhead. Shirtless priests in white dhotis with gold borders and red-and-gold shoulder cloths stand beside an ornately decorated deity murti draped in flower garlands, a kalasha and brass lamps placed before it. Robed attendants in orange and saffron hold ceremonial staffs and fans, and a woman in a blue-and-gold sari stands at left under a decorated umbrella. Banana leaves, fruit plates and flower offerings lie on the floor, and a crowd in orange and saffron watches from behind. The setting suggests an abhishekam or puja in progress.
