The person wears orange saffron robes, with the fabric visible at the upper edge of the frame and an arm partly visible at the right. Beside the tray at the left are white flower petals and pink blossoms, and the background shows more gilded carved decoration. The foot is dark-skinned and placed on the tray's raised rim as if in a foot-washing or padapuja ritual. The person wears an orange-saffron dhoti or wrap. Beside the feet sits a gold plate holding red flowers and gold-coloured ornamental pieces, and yellow marigold garlands drape the platform edges. The scene suggests a pada puja, a ritual of honouring the feet, though the person's identity cannot be determined from this view.2010-10-18 +1 copiesClose photo of a bare foot in an orange-saffron robe resting on an ornate gold tray with embossed floral patterns.
