November 15 20152015-11-15A photograph of a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes holding a brass multi-wick oil lamp in one hand and a small bell in the other, with flames rising from the lamp. He wears gold beaded necklaces and a gold pendant, with a light vertical tilak on his forehead. Smoke drifts across the left side, and green mango-style leaves hang overhead. The page indicates this is a Chandi Homa event, but the figure's appearance is a shaved-head priest in saffron with gold beads, lacking the long hair or crown cues needed to confirm the person named on the page, so the identity is uncertain.2009-09-25A photograph of a shaved-headed priest in a saffron-orange robe with a red border performing an evening aarti at night. He holds a brass aarti lamp with a bright flame raised in his right hand and a brass bell in his left, and wears a gold necklace and a rudraksha-style chain with a pendant, with a white vibhuti mark on his forehead. Dried palm fronds and green leaves hang overhead beneath a decorated canopy, and smoke drifts at left. Several seated people in yellow garments are visible at the lower edge, and a man in white stands behind him. The setting looks like an outdoor homa or puja area.2009-09-26September 26 20092009-09-26A photograph of a shaved-headed man in an orange-saffron robe with a darker red-maroon border stands at night holding a brass multi-wick aarti lamp with flames rising from several wicks, and a brass bell in his other hand. He wears a long gold-toned beaded necklace and a white horizontal forehead mark with a red dot. Leaves hang above and a leafy plant stands behind him against a dark background. The scene suggests a night aarti performed in the open. The man is a priest or sannyasi performing the aarti; appearance is a shaved head in saffron with no long hair, crown or rudraksha malas, so his identity is uncertain.2009-09-27November 15 20152015-11-15December 02 20142014-12-02September 05 20162016-09-05A shaved-headed man in an orange saffron robe and an orange head covering stands in smoke, holding a bronze multi-wick oil lamp with bright flames in his right hand and a small bell in his left. He wears a long gold-toned bead necklace, and a white mark is visible on his forehead. Green leaves hang in the background.2009-09-25September 26 20092009-09-26A shaved-headed man in an orange-saffron robe with a hood-like drape stands at night holding a silver aarti plate with a bright oil flame at its right edge. He wears a gold bead necklace and a white tilak with red markings on his forehead, and gold-coloured bangles. Behind him are hanging dried leaves on a cord, a bamboo pole, and a wide leafy plant, with an orange cloth canopy overhead. The scene suggests an evening aarti being offered.2009-09-27Night photograph of an outdoor shrine courtyard framed by green palms and leafy plants. A bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti and sash stands on the left, holding a lit oil lamp (aarti) in his right hand and a small bell in his left, performing puja. To the right, a dark deity murti with a garland of yellow and white flowers and a gold necklace is set in front of a shrine window with a lit interior. A small brass offering vessel rests on a green cabinet. No identifiable a person is visible; the priest's appearance does not meet the criteria for a candidate.2016-09-05
