A seated man in an orange-saffron robe over a red top sits on a red patterned cushioned seat before an ornate gold throne with carved deity relief and yellow-and-purple flower garlands. He raises a trident in one hand and a wooden staff in the other. Before him, a woman in a purple patterned sari with a gold-bordered shawl and a woman in a pink blouse stand with hands folded in respect. A man in an orange robe stands behind them. Dry twigs lie in front of the throne. Appearance cues including the saffron robe and throne are consistent with a person, seated in a blessing gesture with a trident.2009-08-19August 19 20092009-08-19August 19 20092009-08-19A seated man in orange sannyasi-style robes holds a gold trident (trishul) in his left hand while sitting on an orange-cushioned throne-like seat. A woman in a magenta checked sari with gold border bends forward with palms pressed together and her hand on his head, a gesture of blessing or reverence. He has a red tilak on his forehead and his bare feet rest on a patterned mat decorated with a white flower. Behind them, gilded altar pieces, brass pots, a silver plate, a garland of red and white flowers and a figure in green stand before a golden shrine backdrop. The scene appears to be a darshan or blessing moment at a temple setting.2010-06-30August 11 20172017-08-11A standing man in a maroon-brown robe with a long multi-colour flower garland of red, yellow and white blooms holds a tall silver trident (trishul) upright, eyes closed, with a tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. Seated devotees in front, including a woman in a purple sari with folded hands and a man with his back to the camera, face him. Two orange-robed sadhus sit at left and right, and a steel vessel and offering trays sit on the floor.2014-07-10April 29 20162016-04-29December 09 20152015-12-09July 06 20142014-07-06May 14 20142014-05-14July 19 20152015-07-19May 01 20142014-05-01
