A figure in orange robes and an orange turban, seen from behind with long dark hair, stands with hands joined in prayer facing a black stone dakshinamurthy murti seated under a silver arched frame. The deity wears a yellow cloth, a rudraksha mala, and garlands of pink and purple flowers, and is set before a green backdrop. In front, a raised mound of red-orange kumkum or vermilion-coated stones surrounds the murti, with a small placed sign reading the deity's name and an inscription on the base. Hanging aerial roots frame the top of the scene, and metal poles stand in the background.2011-08-13 +1 copiesFebruary 25th 20072007-02-25November 12 20102010-11-12Night photograph under a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots.
