He has a dark red bindi-like mark centred on his forehead and swept-back dark hair. Warm reddish lighting falls on his cheek and nose, and a red garment edge is visible at the bottom of the frame. The face fills most of the image, making the upturned gaze the focal point. No identifiable a person cues such as crown, saffron robe, or malas are visible in the frame, so the identity cannot be established from appearance.2008 - The SPH Portrait CollectionsClose-up photograph in low warm light of a man in profile, looking up and to the side with a slight smile. He has dark, wavy hair swept back, a red kumkum mark on his forehead, and a small nose stud. Only his face and a glimpse of a red-orange garment at the bottom edge are visible against a dark background. The face is not clearly enough visible to confirm identity, and the visible cues do not establish the a person presentation, so the subject is described by role only as a man in close portrait.Close-up photograph of a person's face in profile-leaning view, with long dark hair falling beside the face.
