A close photograph of a metal deity murti with a tall crown and a silvery face, marked with a yellow turmeric or sandal paste on the forehead. A bare brown hand with gold and jewelled rings touches the forehead, as in a ritual anointing. The murti is garlanded with pink lotus flowers, purple blossoms and white jasmine, with a green leaf stem behind. The background is blurred red fabric and golden vessels.2018-04-14October 07 20112011-10-07April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesOctober 07 20112011-10-07January 08 20122012-01-08A silver-toned deity murti with a tall crown and ornate shoulder armour is being touched on the forehead by a hand with a silver bangle, a human arm entering from the left. The murti wears a dark blouse, a pendant necklace and a jewelled collar. Behind it, a blurred figure in orange-saffron cloth and red floral garlands stands near warm lamp light. The scene suggests a ritual abhishekam or puja, with the murti being attended closely. No clearly identifiable person is shown in full, only a hand, forearm and blurred background clothing.2012-01-08Close photograph of a bronze deity murti adorned with pink lotus flowers, purple flower garlands, white jasmine strands and a red rose, with a dried palm-leaf strand tied near the crown.
