In the foreground at right, an elderly bald man with white beard and glasses in orange robes holds up a large printed calendar sheet, while the man beside him holds a rolled paper. Behind them, a man in a red and gold turban and orange garments stands near a gilded throne-like structure with carved figures. In the foreground, a long-haired man in orange clothing, a red turban, a gold-beaded necklace and rudraksha-style beads sits cross-legged on a red and patterned carpet, with a yellow-robed woman in a marigold garland beside him. Around them, sadhus in orange and white sit and stand, and a man in white dhoti with a gold-trimmed shawl holds a ceremonial staff topped with a trident. Marigold garlands and a red cushion appear nearby, and a mixed group of seated and standing people fills the background.2016-04-18 +1 copiesApril 18 20162016-04-18Crowded outdoor tent event under red, orange and yellow striped canopy. Saffron-robed sadhus and monks sit on a patterned carpet with a red cloth; a central orange-robed figure stands holding an object while others sit around. Two attendants in white dhotis with gold borders stand at right holding ornate pink and red parasols with silver fringe. Devotees in white and orange clothing, one man in a turban, and a woman in a pale floral sari stand in the background. Marigold flowers lie at lower right. Many people wearing orange, white and checked shirts crowd the scene, with cameras visible.2016-04-18August 09 20152015-08-09Outdoors beside a forest stream, a seated figure in an orange-red robe, a red turban, a large white flower garland and gold ornaments sits on a silver-framed throne-like seat with a silver trident behind. Around them, several men in white dhotis with gold borders and red shawls hold red and orange fringed ceremonial parasols over the water, while a man in white stands waist-deep in the stream behind. Seated devotees in white and orange garments face the figure in the foreground, and a woman in orange holds a brass plate. The figure is an appearance-based unsure candidate for a person, identified only by clothing and turban rather than face; the people around them are attendants and devotees in a river ceremony.2014-12-17
