A photo of a visit in a formal living room with dark wood display cabinets holding small figurines, a brass lamp and framed items. A seated elderly man in a grey cap, glasses, striped shirt, grey trousers and a gold shawl sits in a cream upholstered armchair, gesturing with one hand. Before him, a figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a leopard-print cloth tied at the waist sits on the floor, holding a tray of orange marigold petals, with a marigold garland around the neck. A standing attendant in orange robes and a rudraksha mala looks on. A fruit basket and glass sit on the low table. A wrapped gold-coloured gift is not present; the scene shows a ceremonial welcome with offerings.2012-08-02August 02 20122012-08-02August 02 20122012-08-02A living room scene where an elderly man in a black cap, white shirt, grey trousers and a gold shawl bows low toward a seated woman in an orange sari with a marigold garland, rudraksha mala and a tilak on her forehead. A person with long dark hair in a bun, wearing an orange sleeveless top, a gold-and-brown patterned sarong-like lower garment, a gold waist sash, and a long orange-and-white marigold garland with rudraksha beads, presents a fruit basket to an older bearded man in a grey cap, white striped shirt, and a gold shawl. Behind them, a man in orange and another in a pink shirt stand near a wooden cabinet with glass doors and a deity figure, and a flower arrangement sits at right. Sheer curtains hang at left. The person presenting the fruit has a distinctive long swept-back hair and rudraksha-and-marigold adornment but the appearance is not sufficient to confirm the a person identity, so the presenter is described by role only.2012-08-02A photograph inside a living room with a dark wooden display cabinet holding figurines behind glass.
