A framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and orange saffron robes, raising one hand in blessing, is garlanded with white and red flower strands and set before a bronze deity murti with a green silk cloth draped beneath. Brass oil lamps and yellow and purple flower garlands frame the altar; a banyan-root backdrop appears behind the frame. No physical people are visible. The framed photograph appears to be a depiction of Swamiji (probable) based on the long hair, saffron robe and orange garments, and the page's printed title names him.2007-09-30A framed portrait sits on a richly draped throne-like seat covered in red and gold brocade silk, with an ornate gilded canopy behind and green gold-threaded curtains at the sides. The portrait, labelled with a copyright line, shows a seated man in orange robes with long hair, a red forehead mark and a white flower garland, raising one hand in blessing before a tree-root backdrop; the figure is a depiction, not a person present. Pink and white flower garlands with pearl strands drape the frame and seat, and a pair of small silver pots and a gold cushion rest on the seat. Pink roses are scattered on the platform in front, and a black oval plate with orange garland and pink flowers holds a pair of ceremonial sandals in the foreground. No physical people are visible.December 20 20102010-12-20 +1 copiesA seated speaker on a gilded throne with dark maroon velvet cushions and a tiger-striped cloth addresses an audience while wearing a rust-orange robe, a matching orange shawl, a gold necklace and gold bangles, with a red bindi and a headset microphone. Green leafy branches and a yellow and green floral backdrop surround the seat, and a red cloth covers the platform in front. The figure has long dark hair and appears to be in meditative prayer, with the presentation appearance-based: a turban, long hair, saffron-and-gold ceremonial clothing and garlands are visible, but the presentation alone does not establish identity.
