A rainy outdoor scene of a crowd gathered on a wet road beneath trees. In the foreground a man in white with an orange-saffron shawl stands facing a group of women in sarees, one holding a lit oil lamp or fire aloft while others stand with hands clasped in prayer. Behind them many men and women in white and colourful clothes, some under black and red umbrellas, stand along the roadside, with uniformed police visible. A white vehicle is parked at the right edge. The priest's shawl is orange and the women wear yellow, green, pink and blue sarees.

Outdoor photo of villagers walking along a muddy path through green scrub with palm trees behind them. Several women in sarees, including one in a green and black saree and another in a pale blue saree, carry small packets or bundles. A large outdoor crowd gathers on a paved street for a food distribution line. Volunteers in white clothes, many women in white saris and men in white shirts, stand behind a long metal serving counter lined with rows of plates, serving food to devotees who hold paper plates. Many attendees wear coloured saris in pink, green, red and blue. Cars and a white van are parked along the wall at the back, and a roadside banner is visible at upper right. The crowd fills the street and the volunteers' white attire stands out against the mixed colours of the visitors.

A crowd of devotees queues outdoors for annadan, a free meal, at what appears to be an ashram or temple grounds with a low orange building and a green corrugated roof behind young palm trees. Many people hold steel plates of rice and curry. An older woman in a teal and white outfit walks forward carrying food, and a man in a white shirt holds a plate. A young boy in a grey shirt stands near metal barrier railings. Behind them a woman in a pink sari and an older woman in an orange-brown sari also carry plates. Many more people in saris, shirts and dhotis fill the background.
