A man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala is draping a red and gold silk shawl over the shoulders of an older bald man in white clothes and glasses, who wears an orange scarf. Several men in white and saffron stand around, some with shaved heads. On the right, a person holds a gold tray or cloth, and a golden throne-like seat is decorated with a backdrop of framed images at the far right. The orange-robed man with the mala has distinctive adornments and a visible mala, but the face and presentation do not give enough cues to establish identity, so the figure is described by role only as a robed devotee giving a shawl.2010-10-27December 20 20062006-12-20A photograph taken in a dim hall during a ceremonial presentation. A man in an orange turban, bare-chested and wearing an orange dhoti with an orange shawl, stands in the centre wearing a long garland of yellow and red flowers with green leaves. Behind them, a seated audience of men and boys in white and orange sits on the floor, and on the right a line of people in white dhotis and orange shawls stand, one holding a tray. A decorated wall hanging and framed picture are visible at the back. The scene resembles a felicitation or honouring with a shawl. a person appearance is probable, based on the orange turban and garland, the swept-back long hair, and the orange robes, though the face is not clearly visible.2006-12-20December 20 20062006-12-20December 20 20062006-12-20Outdoor ceremony under a canopy with red and white striped fabric and a green-and-white banner.
