A photograph of a smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange saffron sleeveless top and an orange shawl draped over his shoulders, with a red bindi on his forehead. He is seated in front of an ornate gold-painted throne-style backrest with carved floral patterns against a dark blue curtain. A man in a white shirt stands at the left edge, leaning toward him, and the man's hand is extended outward toward the right. The appearance-based cues (long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, shawl, throne) are consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) seated on a peetha, though identity is uncertain.2010-09-13A seated figure on an ornate gold-carved throne wears saffron orange draped clothing, long swept-back dark hair, a gold necklace and a red tilak, and smiles while gesturing with one raised hand. Swamiji (probable) is shown in this seated role, with long hair and orange ceremonial clothing as cues. Opposite him, a man in a white kurta with an orange shawl kneels with palms pressed together in namaskar. A garland of red, yellow, green and white strands hangs at the left edge, and a large red backdrop with a stylised beaded mala motif sits behind them. Another person's head is partly visible at the lower centre.2007-02-24A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne with a red cushioned seat. He wears saffron-orange robes draped over the shoulders and a red tilak mark on the forehead, with long dark hair swept back. He smiles and looks toward a person in white clothing whose arm and hand enter from the right edge of the frame. Behind the throne a white backdrop with large red lettering is partly visible. The man's appearance matches the page's reference to Swamiji through his saffron robes, long hair and golden throne, so this is a probable identification.2011-01-21November 22 20092009-11-22February 05 20072007-02-05February 24 20072007-02-24January 05 20072007-01-05November 22 20092009-11-22A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi sits smiling on an ornate gold throne with carved floral scrollwork, against a dark blue draped curtain. A young man with long curly hair, wearing an orange-saffron robe and a red-orange bindi, sits smiling and extends his hand toward a bearded man in a white dhoti and orange shawl who holds a silver tray or bowl and appears to be performing a blessing or initiation. Two shaved-headed men in orange cloth sit in the lower left foreground. To the right, a figure in orange robes with long hair turns away, and a standing attendant in orange holds a long staff near a gilded figure at the edge of the frame. A golden peetha ornament and carved lion-like armrests decorate the throne.2006-08-22June 14 20092009-06-14January 23 20112011-01-23 +1 copies
