Water is being poured over its head from a brass pot held overhead by a hand, the water streaming down the face and cloth, consistent with abhishekam. Four arms are visible holding ritual objects. A gold-framed arch with red curtains forms the backdrop, and brass vessels and lamps sit on the floor in front.2020-12-14A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a yellow border stands with his back to the camera, holding a ceremonial item toward a black-faced deity murti. The murti wears a red and gold silk sari, a gold crown, a large gold necklace with red and white garlands, and raised hands. It sits in an ornate gold arched niche with a gold cloth backdrop above a dark tiled platform. Two white flower garlands hang on the murti's arms.2022-03-14A photograph of a dark-stone deity murti seated on a gold-framed throne decorated with yellow marigold garlands. The figure wears a pink and green silk sari with gold border, a tall gold crown, layered gold necklaces and bangles, and holds a lotus-like emblem and a rudraksha-style mala. In the foreground a hand holds a brass oil lamp with several lit wicks, an aarti offering, and a smaller seated murti in a gold-and-white sari with red garlands sits at the bottom. Silver and gold kalasha-style vessels and a red cloth appear at the right. Setting suggests a Tamil New Year puja at a temple-style shrine.2020-04-14KAILASA TORONTO, CANADA on 3/14/20222022-03-14 +1 copiesKAILASA TORONTO, CANADA on 12/4/20212021-12-04KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 5/3/20202020-05-03KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 12/14/20202020-12-14KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 2/13/20222022-02-13A photograph of a dark-complexioned deity murti seated in a gilded arched niche with a maroon curtain behind it.
