Photo 11688009 +1 copiesA photograph taken at a temple entrance during a welcoming ceremony. A shirtless man in a white dhoti with gold border stands at left with palms pressed together in namaste, facing a woman in a white and gold embroidered sari with a red beaded necklace who holds a brass aarti plate decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves. Beside her, an older woman in a cream sari holds up a large framed photograph garlanded with red and white flowers, showing a smiling figure in a red turban and pink garment. Two more women stand nearby, one in an orange and red patterned sari with folded hands, another in a green and gold sari. Behind them, a framed portrait with a smiling figure in orange hangs on the wall beside a hanging orange cloth and string lights, and a crowd gathers in the room beyond.2019-04-27Photo 11688030 +1 copiesOctober 22 20082008-10-22Photo 11742721July 07 20142014-07-07Outdoor homa in a parking lot setting. A bare-chested priest with long matted hair, wearing a white dhoti with a gold border and a sacred thread, sits cross-legged facing a yellow square fire pit with burning flames. Behind him, an older man in a white shawl with a gold-bordered cloth sits with palms pressed together. A woman in a green sari with a red-and-gold shawl stands with hands folded, and a woman in a cream sari stands holding a small object. On the left, a smiling person in a red turban and pink-and-white garland sits on a gold-draped throne-like chair. Brass ritual vessels decorated with flowers and red garlands sit in the foreground. Parked cars and a building are visible behind.2019-04-27Photo 11687948July 07 20142014-07-07Photo 11688097KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 4/27/20192019-04-27July 07 20142014-07-07
