A bare forearm wearing red and green bangles and a red thread tied at the wrist pours liquid from a brass vessel over the statue, which streams down its body. Red flower petals scatter on the platform. Behind it hangs a red cloth and a brass pole, and a second dark lingam-style stone base sits to the right. This depicts Nandi abhishekam, a ritual washing of the sacred bull. No person's face or a person depiction is visible.2024-08-30Photo 99223092022-05-27 +1 copiesPhoto 11716603A black stone Nandi bull statue sits on a dark polished base inside a temple hall, its chest and neck decorated with a carved collar and a pink flower placed on its head.
