A seated man in rust-orange robes sits on an ornate golden throne with leopard-print cushions and carved gold peacock-like backrest. He wears a long white-and-red flower garland with a yellow-and-red tassel hanging down, a gold waist belt, gold earrings and a white forehead mark with a red dot. He holds a tall silver staff upright and has a red tilak on his forehead. He is receiving a gold ritual implement from a bearded man in a white shirt and white dhoti-style garment, who bends forward with both hands extended. A brass bell hangs in the background beside yellow-and-red cords. The seated figure's distinctive long hair, saffron-toned robe and ornate gold adornments are visible cues, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to confirm identity.2017-08-24August 11 20172017-08-11 +1 copiesA seated man in a deep red turban adorned with a jeweled ornament and round white-and-pink gems sits on an ornate gold-carved throne with red cushions. In the foreground, a bare-backed devotee in a white dhoti with a yellow border bends forward, blindfolded with a white cloth, while a priest in white with a trident mark on the forehead and an orange-brown cord places a hand on the devotee's back. To the right, a seated man with long swept-back hair, a white forehead mark, a beard and an orange-brown shawl over a bare shoulder raises a hand in blessing and smiles. Probable Swamiji (his long swept-back hair, orange-brown shawl, rudraksha-style dress and seated throne-like position match the page), shown in person. Two physical people are visible.2018-05-27
