A photograph taken at a narrow doorway in a street, looking outward from inside a shuttered shop or building. A man in the centre wears a red-orange turban, a red-and-gold wrap draped over bare shoulders, and a bead necklace, and he presses his palms together in greeting while raising one fist. Around him, people in saffron and orange robes raise their hands and clap; a bearded figure in orange on the right presses his palms together, and a man in a yellow-patterned shirt holds a bundle of flowers. Photographers and a videographer with a camera on the right capture the moment, and a brick wall and a white vehicle are visible behind them.

A photograph of a street-side exchange outside a building with a metal grille and hanging greenery. In the foreground, a bearded man in orange shirt and black rudraksha mala folds his hands in greeting. Beside him, a bald man in a saffron-orange shawl with a bead necklace stands near the door. On the right, a sadhu in a deep red turban and bare-chested with an orange shawl and yellow flower garland folds his hands in namaste. Other saffron-robed sadhus, a man in a red turban, and onlookers stand behind, with a bare-chested older devotee and several people further back.

A crowded doorway scene in an old brick-walled courtyard. In the centre, a man in an orange-red turban and orange robe bows his head while another man in saffron clothing holds a white flower garland and a small offering plate. Behind them, a bearded man with raised hands wears an orange kurta and wristwatch, and a shaved-headed monk in orange and rudraksha beads stands at the left. Several bystanders and camera operators with cameras crowd the frame, one holding a video camera at the lower right. A pale wall and a rusty shutter frame the entrance.

A courtyard scene beside a weathered brick wall in Varanasi, with several sadhus and devotees in saffron and orange robes. An elderly bearded man with grey hair and an orange shawl stands at left, hands folded. A bald man with a yellow tilak on his forehead and rudraksha malas stands behind him. In the centre, a person in an orange top and maroon turban holds up a garland. At right, a bespectacled bearded man in orange clothing holds a steel plate of rice or prasad. Several people at the edges raise their hands.

A photograph taken in a narrow covered alcove beside a brick wall, with bright sunlight from the left. A man in an orange-red robe with a sash, wearing glasses and with a white beard, stands at right holding an offering near a small plate, while a group of people in orange and saffron clothing gathers around him. A bald man in the foreground wears a dark rudraksha mala. A woman in peach-coloured clothing with grey hair stands with her back to the camera, and a person in a yellow patterned shirt is at the lower right. Several other figures in orange robes stand in the background near the wall. Visible ritual activity suggests a temple visit.

A photograph inside a yellow-walled temple courtyard at a red-painted shrine doorway with red garlands hanging on its frame. A man in a maroon turban and a gold-and-maroon waist wrap stands with folded hands, wearing a long beaded necklace, while another man in a saffron robe and rudraksha beads places a hand near his head. Several saffron-robed sannyasis stand and sit behind them, a cameraman and a photographer shoot the scene, and devotees in the foreground watch. Ceiling fans and hanging lamps are visible. a person candidate is not clearly established from appearance, so the central figure is described by role only.

A photograph of a crowded indoor room with concrete block walls and large glass windows, where a central figure in a maroon robe and maroon turban stands wearing a long garland of white and yellow flowers. Several bald priests in saffron-orange shawls and rudraksha malas stand around him, one holding his arm, while a dense crowd of men in white shirts and women in white saris with coloured borders presses in. A framed portrait stands on a red cloth on the back wall. The gathering suggests a pada puja offering at a devotee's house.

A photograph of a temple gathering in which a smiling figure in saffron-orange robes, an orange turban with a red tilak, and layered white ceremonial necklaces and bangles stands at center, beside a bald man in bare-chested orange garments with white ash markings on his arms and back who holds a tray of offerings. Several men in front raise folded hands in namaskar, a man in white dhoti with a yellow and red-bordered shawl is at left, and a cameraman films in the background above colourful temple painting. The cues for the central figure are a turban, ornate ceremonial necklaces and saffron clothing, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity; the page suggests a person is present.
