Both show a smiling woman with a saffron-orange turban and orange garment, in a depiction; the banner's printed caption names Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and the Swamiji portrait labelled on the banner is printed, not physical. In front, a crowd of people in everyday clothing walks past a parked truck and a colourful auto-rickshaw, including a woman in a red sari and men in white shirts and dhotis. Speakers and scaffolding stand at left under a grey sky with trees and a hill behind.2013-01-06Outdoor photo at a street-side centre inauguration: a large blue signboard reads in Tamil "Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam Chengam" with a portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" showing a smiling woman in orange with beads, framed by white and red flower garlands. Beneath it a banner says "Varuga! Varuga!!" (Come! Come!!). On the right, a man in an orange robe and white flower garland stands before the sign, pulling a cloth covering to unveil it. A crowd of men, women and children in white shirts, saris and striped clothing watches, and a banana leaf hangs in the foreground.2009-08-06November 25 20062006-11-25A photograph of a large billboard on a bamboo scaffold in an open dirt field at dusk, with a cloudy sky and tree line behind it. The billboard shows a smiling man in a cream-coloured turban and a dark garment with embroidered trim, set against a blue background. Beneath the portrait is a banner with Tamil text labelled as a poster headline naming Paramahamsa Nithyananda and an event titled Prapancha Shakthi's Miracles. Strings of small pennant flags stretch across the sky, a street lamp stands at the left edge, and a bus sits in the lower-right corner. Two people stand far to the left, mostly in silhouette. The portrait is a printed depiction, so the candidate is not physically present.2005-11-19August 06 20092009-08-06August 06 20092009-08-06Street scene in a South Indian town: a large roadside hoarding on a pole displays a pink and white Tamil-language poster with a portrait of a bearded man in a white head wrap, captioned as Paramahamsa Nithyananda, announcing a Dhyana Satsangam event. Posters are pasted along a concrete bridge railing in the foreground. A man in a light blue shirt walks along the road, cyclists ride past, and roadside shops with signboards line the right side under tall trees. Printed name attributed to the hoarding caption, not to any physical person in the scene.2005-11-19Outdoor photograph of a large white roadside banner mounted on bamboo poles against a blue sky, with a half-built brick wall in the foreground. The banner has a portrait on its left side showing a smiling woman in an orange garment with beaded necklaces, and dense Tamil text on the right announcing an event. A small orange flag flies from a pole at the left, and a strip of orange and green cloth hangs at the banner's base. A few fragments of a head are visible at the bottom edge of the frame.
