2010-10-Aug-08A large seated audience fills a dimly lit tent-covered hall, most people in white and light-coloured clothing with many women wearing long braids. In the centre background on a raised stage, a figure in orange robes sits before a microphone beside a gilded throne-like chair, with a framed portrait on the stage and a deity murti on a side table. Yellow and patterned hanging banners decorate the ceiling, and printed photographs are displayed on the side walls. The scene appears to be a satsang gathering. Whether the seated figure on stage is a candidate for the described teacher cannot be determined from appearance at this distance.2006-12-23A large seated congregation fills a tent-covered hall, with many devotees in white clothes, some in blue, green and orange, several with long braids, facing a raised stage at the far end. On the stage, a figure in orange robes sits on a white seat in front of a golden ornate throne-chair bearing a framed portrait of a man with long hair. Hanging decorative tassels in red, yellow and blue decorate the ceiling, and banners and framed photographs line the side walls. Many seated devotees, mostly in white clothing, fill the foreground facing a raised stage with a dark red curtain. Several people in white kurtas sit on chairs on the stage, and a standing person in white with an orange shawl stands at the left edge. A few people stand near the right side. The lighting is low and the audience is in shadow.2006-12-26December 26 20102010-12-26
