A photograph of a covered outdoor stall under a red and white cloth canopy strung with bunting, with banana leaves and potted plants at the edges. In the foreground a man in white clothes and a white shirt, with a sacred thread and wrist beads, leans over a table of books and pamphlets and hands a printed booklet to a seated woman in a white sari with a red-and-gold border, a bindi, a black beaded necklace and gold bangles. Behind them, other people in white and in colourful saris stand or sit near the stall, and a television screen sits on a stand. The ground is bare earth with footwear placed at the entrance area. Several people are visible across the scene, and the setting appears to be a devotee bookstall or information counter.2010-01-08Outdoor photo at a roadside stall shaded by red umbrellas, with a woman in a white salwar kameez seated at a table covered in a blue-and-white checked cloth, handing a slip or ticket to a man.
