A man in a white turban and white garments with an orange shawl stands at left, while a seated man in white crouches over a drum, working on the cord tying of a barrel-shaped udal drum with a rolled cloth beneath it. A standing man in white with an orange shawl and white dhoti watches the drumming, and a woman in yellow sits in the background near a covered shelter with a banner. Several people wear white kurtas and orange wraps; a young woman in white with a blue floral print and a red skirt stands in the foreground. Drum pieces, slippers and cloth lie on the ground.

The scene reads as devotional drumming during a temple-style procession.
