A man in a white shirt, brown trousers and a rudraksha mala holds one end of a large saffron-orange banner with a framed portrait of a smiling man wearing an orange turban and red bindi, with Kannada text. Behind him, a man in white holds a smaller placard showing a similar orange-turbaned portrait. Other marchers in white shirts and orange-and-blue flags stand nearby; a yellow dump truck and white vehicles are on the left. Two or three other banners with orange portraits are visible on the right edge.2010-07-24A street protest photograph under a concrete overpass in daylight. A large yellow banner held by several people reads in Kannada and red letters, with a portrait of a smiling figure in an orange-red turban and orange robes at its right. Next to it stands a black-and-white printed poster of a young woman with the Kannada words for cheat, sexual harasser and bribery-type accusations. Behind them a decorated shrine-like structure is hung with orange and marigold garlands, and a small banner reads Nithyananda Paramashivam Price of Hinduism. People in orange and teal clothing stand along the banner, including an older woman in an orange-and-brown sari and a man in an orange shirt at right. A grassy strip and green shrubs fill the foreground.2012-10-02A street protest outdoors beneath a concrete overpass. Several people hold up a large yellow banner with red and green Kannada lettering that reads a protest message against a named individual. Two smaller photo portraits are printed on the banner: a woman with dark hair on the left and a smiling woman in a white top on the right, and a smiling person in an orange turban and orange clothing on the far right, printed portrait, not a physical person. Behind the banner, a decorated vehicle or float is draped with orange, yellow and marigold garlands, with a man in an orange shirt standing near it. A man in an orange shirt stands at the right edge holding the banner, and a young boy in a white shirt stands at the left. Roughly half a dozen physical people are visible.2012-10-02July 24 20102010-07-24 +3 copiesOctober 02 20122012-10-02February 19 20072007-02-19October 02 20122012-10-02October 02 20122012-10-02February 19 20072007-02-19
