Photo 82910542022-06-17Home puja altar photographed at close range. A framed portrait in the upper centre shows a smiling young man in orange robes with a long yellow-and-white flower garland and a raised hand, set against a tree-trunk background. Beside it a large painted image of Shiva with blue skin, crescent, and rudraksha ornaments is garlanded with marigold and red flower strands. On a leopard-print cloth stand a brass trident, small seated deity figurines, a kalasha-like brass vessel, offerings of white and orange flowers, a red-and-yellow drum, a plate of flatbread and a bowl of yellow curry. A person's bangled arm is visible at the left edge. No people are present except that arm, so this is a photograph of a home altar.2022-09-11 +1 copiesPhoto 82897132022-09-03 +1 copiesPhoto 99233062022-08-03 +1 copiesPhoto 99220552022-08-20 +1 copiesPhoto 99193912022-09-06 +1 copiesPhoto 82920822022-09-23 +1 copiesPhoto 82862032022-08-23 +1 copiesPhoto 82880772022-08-01 +1 copiesHome shrine for a Guru Paduka Puja, with a framed portrait of a smiling young man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style garland, one hand raised in blessing, set before a banyan-tree backdrop. Beside it stands a large image of Shiva with blue skin, a crescent and a snake, draped in red-orange marigold garlands. Two black slippers (paduka) decorated with white flowers and rudraksha beads rest on a leopard-print cloth alongside yellow frangipani, lavender blossoms, a brass trident, a small kalasha, a bowl of offering, and a flat bread. A tiered drum and a gold-toned murti sit nearby. A bare arm of a devotee enters the frame at the left. No other people are visible.2022-09-24 +1 copiesPhoto 82887532022-08-22 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 9/21/20222022-09-21 +1 copies
