Many wear orange and saffron saris and white and cream saris bordered in gold, with rudraksha malas around their necks and long braids decorated with red-brown beads. Several have white or yellow vertical lines on their foreheads. Some sit with hands folded or hold white notebooks, while others look toward the front.
