It wears a green and red patterned silk turban with a green leafy crown, a multi-layered diamond-studded gold collar and a gold waist belt over orange-and-red clothing. Rudraksha mala beads and long silver-threaded ornaments hang across the chest. Yellow marigold garlands and red rose garlands drape the shoulders and sides. Behind the head rises a large gold hooded cobra canopy with green gem-set fangs, set against carved gold and temple pillars. A banyan-style setting with ceremonial decoration suggests a temple worship display.2011-07-26September 10 20142014-09-10 +2 copiesPhoto 11735650April 23 20122012-04-23Close photo of a Shiva lingam dressed for worship, wrapped in a red and gold cloth with a jewelled silver-white band across its front and a red stone set in the centre. White jasmine garlands and a dark rudraksha mala hang around the lingam, with a golden kalasha-style cover and a snake-hood canopy of five golden cobra heads with green lamp-shaped ornaments above. A gold-patterned ceremonial backdrop and red satin draping frame the deity murti, and a blue cloth with a rudraksha-beaded panel with white and red stones lies in the foreground. No people are visible.2014-08-11A photograph of a decorated deity murti, a black stone Shiva lingam shown with an orange-and-gold turban-like draping and a gold-and-diamond band across its top. A gold five-hooded serpent hood (naga) arches behind it, with green gem drops hanging from the hood heads. The murti is wreathed in white jasmine garlands with red roses, wears a long rudraksha mala with gold bead spacers, and sits within gold and pink fabric near a gold ritual vessel. Chiefly a deity murti, with no physical people visible; the tall golden staff at right and a pink cloth hang in the background.2012-04-26June 11 20132013-06-11 +1 copies
