Indoor home shrine during a house visit. A woman in a maroon sari with yellow and red flower garlands and gold bangles holds a lit flame near a brass lamp stand. In front, a small deity murti wrapped in a red crown and white-and-orange flower garland sits on a brass-trimmed tray with offerings of bananas, fruit and coconut. Several brass oil lamps burn beside it. A man in white clothes and an orange shawl, glasses on, stands at right with palms pressed together in namaskar. A framed picture hangs on the wall at right, and a pink curtain covers the window behind the shrine.2014-06-22June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesPhoto 11688008 +1 copiesPhoto 11687411 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28Photo 11687995Photo 11687435June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesIndoor home temple shrine in Kailasa Dhumbarahi, Nepal. A bare-chested priest in a yellow cloth and white dhoti holds a lit oil lamp before a shrine decorated with marigold garlands. Behind him, several figures are seen in colourful garments: a standing man in white dhoti with folded hands, a man with bare chest and white dhoti, and a woman in a white sari with orange border. Shrine images include a deity murti in pink and gold ornaments, a framed portrait-like murti in a blue niche, and a pink-robed figure with a crown. Brass and copper vessels and offerings sit on a green cloth in front, with an oil lamp burning on a purple cloth. A small sign reads 04/11/2024 16:18 at the lower right. The scene suggests a daily puja with aarti.2024-04-11A man in a rust-red shawl and dhoti, with a white flower garland and red flower garland over his shoulders, lights an oil lamp before a golden shrine. A woman in a cream and gold sari with gold jewellery stands at left with palms pressed together in prayer.
